Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Application

snip-4-Oct-2019-Visa-fy

Saskatchewan is a Canadian province located on the borders of the USA in the couth, Alberta in the west, Northern Territories on the North, and Manitoba on the east. Currently, this province has a population of over 1 million, which is expanding consistently due to the influx of migrants from all over the world.

The scheme is state requirement-centric and relies on an occupational list that addresses the skilled needs of the state. One can use three categories to enter into this state:

  • Express Entry
  • Occupation In-Demand
  • Employment Offer

The scope of the schemes offered by this state

The SINP is run every year, with minor modifications in the occupational lists. Through these routes, the provincial government:

  • Invites applications for permanent residence from aliens willing to establish themselves in Saskatchewan;
  • Offers sponsorships for successful applicants to the central government, so they can avail themselves of Canada Permanent Resident Visa.

The SNIP, as a program, although has several benefits to offer to the applicants, there are some that can be easily enumerated, such as:

  • Faster processing times of the immigration  applications – they have been following a systematic approach of late and delivering outcomes within stipulated times; and
  • Assistance to the applicants, in case they need some elaborations.

Under the current  arrangement, the SINP is being run for multiple classes and routes:

  • International Skilled Worker
  • Saskatchewan Experience
  • Entrepreneurs
  • Farm Owners and Operators

The most suitable pathway for the off-shore workers are primarily two channels:

  • One is through the Express Entry that is run in conjunction with the central government; and
  • Through Occupation In-Demand which is independently managed by the provincial government
