The applicants are selected on the basis of their experience and capability to establish themselves in Prince Edward Island and promote a commercially viable venture. - 100% Ownership Stream
- Partial Ownership Stream
- Work Permit Stream
Requirements of Prince Edward Entrepreneurs Program
- The Prince Edward Entrepreneurs Program requires the applicant to have a minimum of CAD $600,000 CAD of personal net worth.
- The individual must have a relevant management experience and should be able to validate the intention to settle in PEI and actively participate in the ongoing operations of the company.
- Must be open to signing an escrow agreement with the government of the province and submit a CAD $200,000 deposit, which is refunded as soon as the applicant meets certain conditions.
- Proficiency in French or English is expected while applying to any of the streams.
