Migration Visa Process

The process of obtaining a migration visa typically involves several steps:
  • 1. Petition: A U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident must file a petition on your behalf with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
  • 2. Consular Processing: After the petition is approved, you will need to attend an interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate in your home country.
  • 3. Medical Examination: You will need to undergo a medical examination to ensure that you meet the health requirements for immigration.
  • 4. Background Check: The U.S. government will conduct a background check to ensure that you do not have any criminal or security concerns.
  • 5. Visa Issuance: If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued an immigrant visa.
