1) Making a decision on whether you qualify for a program being hosted by Express Entry:

2) What would you need to do before you create an Express Entry Profile?
Obtain an ECA
To start with, you must ensure that your education qualifications are acceptable in Canada. For this you would have to subscribe to one of the designated credential assessment agencies; submit your credentials; and obtain an ECA.
Write an approved Language Test
The next step would be to write an approved language test to substantiate your skills in either of the official languages of the country: English or French. The results obtained from these must be at par with CLB / NCLC 7.
Demonstrate that you have enough money to support yourself and your family while in Canada
You must be possession of a minimum amount of money to ensure subsistence in Canada. The amount of funds varies as per the number of members included in a profile.
3) Compile necessary documents that support your claims
You must collect all the necessary documents that support your profile, you must get these:
- Passports of you and your dependents, to be included in the application;
- ECA report;
- TRF of language test;
- Work Experience certifications; and
- Financial credentials.
4) How to Create an Application or a Profile on Express Entry
After all the relevant documents have been collected, you can proceed with creation of your profile.
The first step that you would need to go through this process would be qualify for FSW, if you are going through the FSW scheme.
The next step is creation of a profile or EOI (Expression Of Interest) on the Express Entry. You must render all details pertaining to required information to your profile. These scores are referred to as CRS which are allotted out of 1200. Once you have completed your profile entry, and clicked the submit button, your profile if lodged and final scores displayed.

Wait for an ITA or a nomination

The profile on Canada Immigration Express Entry system remains valid for a period of one year, after which it has to be renewed, in case you are not selected.
How to Improve your CRS score?

5) What to Do once you receive an ITA?
If you have been issued an Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence of Canada, you must spring into action and respond within the given stipulated time – generally 2 months, or 60 days. In this second set, you must submit all the supporting documents which you referenced in your profile.
6) Receive Permanent Residence Visa
